When a missile struck the Technion campus during the conflict with Iran, it damaged buildings — but it did not shake the University's resolve. Its classrooms, laboratories, and people remain at the forefront of keeping Israel strong, secure, and innovative. Now, the Technion must act swiftly to protect its campus and community. The need is immediate, but so is the Technion's determination to emerge stronger than before.

Upgrade and expand protected spaces (bomb shelters) to ensure immediate access for students, faculty, and staff across campus 
Reinforce infrastructure and blast protections in key academic and residential buildings 
Install modern fire suppression systems in 100 buildings
Improve emergency alert and communication systems so no one is ever without clear, real-time instructions 
Provide lifesaving equipment and supplies for rapid response teams operating under fire
Secure operational continuity systems to keep essential research and emergency functions running — even during attacks
